Is it possible for two adults to eat for $50 a week? If you have a budget grocery list.
Maybe you are in the middle of paying off debt and are looking for ways to cut your food budget. Maybe you are saving for a vacation and want to save more so that you can take more vacations. If you have a layoff or other stress situation, you have no choice but to spend less.
I wanted to see if I could make $50 a week for a week, three meals a day, for two adults to give you some ideas on what you could buy and eat on a tight budget.
I have to make a bunch of warnings about this cheap grocery list so that no one freaks out.
We live in a low cost of living area in the US.
Yes, we have access to an Aldi store
No, we don’t have any food allergies
You won’t be eating organic for this price urbancitystyles. When you have little money, the priorities are elsewhere.
I found prices in West Michigan in January. You should swap out produce for anything on sale in the season.
