Wild Rose Cleanse(Detox) Review | Wild Rose Detox – Does It Work?

We are honesty! We can earn a commission through the links on this page.

This time we are looking at the Wild Rose Herbal D-Tox, so it is time for another cleanse review.

Garden of Life is a brand that is well known.

Does that mean that it is effective?

Let’s see.

What Is the Wild Rose Cleanse? How Does It Work?

It’s an herbal detox program that claims to cleanse your liver, kidney, colon, and lymphatic system within 12 days.

It has been used there for over 35 years and was formulated by Dr. Terry Willard.

The last update was on January 16th, with images from Amazon product advertising.

This cleanse provides a meal plan to follow, which is something I like about it.

This nods to the fact that they understand food and nutrition are key to any detox.

There are many so-called body detoxes that are nothing more than laxatives.

So I would like to give credit to them on this.

They have a wild rose cookbook online.

It is not really restrictive. Many of your favorite foods can still be enjoyed.

Unless of course, your favorites are sugar, wheat, alcohol, and dairy, then you might have a problem.

If you are going to embark on a cleanse, you should be prepared for some changes to your diet.

The results are usually worth it in the end!

It comes with a kit with different herbal formulas.

  • Three bottles of vegan pills are on display.

  • One liter of liquid herbal extract.

It is recommended that you take a dose of each twice daily with breakfast and dinner.

If you decide to try it at all, you should only do this about twice a year.

Wild Rose Ingredients

Biliherb

Aka barberry has been used in traditional medicine to treat a number of health problems.

It stimulates bile production in the liver and supports it. It is great for digestion and the elimination of harmful toxins.

Laxaherb

Laxaherb is a natural laxative that can help with constipation. It is believed that it expels toxins and waste from the stomach.

Cleansaherb

The toxins are removed from the bloodstream, muscle tissue, and the lymphatic system.

CL Herbal Extract

The ingredient cleans out your urinary tract.

They chose these ingredients because they were good. Each herb works on a different path of elimination.

I think the Wild Rose cleanse is better than others.

It acknowledges that we have more elimination pathways than just bowel movements, though not the best.

Others think that if they can make you poop, that is all that is needed.

A Look at Wild Rose Marketing Claims

This body cleanse claims to improve digestion by helping you purge toxins through all your channels of elimination.

Think of things like urine, BMs, and sweat.

It claims to leave you with a softer, glowing skin.

The idea is that our skin reflects the state of our insides.

If you clean out the inside, the results should show up on the outside.

I think this claim could be true, but I wouldn’t do the cleanse if you just want to look pretty.

It is believed to boost weight loss since you are not eating junk food and alcohol.

How to Use It to Detox Your Body

You will find 3 bottles of different herbal pills and 1 herbal liquid in your kit.

Don’t forget to take 2 tablets out of each bottle and 40 drops of herbal extract twice daily with your breakfast and dinner.

If you have a sweet tooth like me, you may not like the herby, bitter taste of the liquid.

If you want to remove the taste from your mouth, you can drink water or eat fruit after taking the drops.

What to Eat During the Wild Rose Detox

Many people think that the only way to get rid of toxins is by starving themselves.

That is simply not true, thank goodness!

Some of the foods you can eat while cleansing with Wild Rose are listed below.

  • Some of the things that are in the meat category are fish, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, eggs, and so on.

  • Whole grains include oats, brown rice, millet and other grains.

  • Fruits do not include tropical fruits like bananas, mangos, and bitter orange.

  • Store brands that like to sneak in sugar enhancers should not be trusted. It’s better for you to make your own at home.

  • Spinach and cabbage are included in the vegetables.

  • I would limit this category to chickpeas, beans, and lentils.

  • Two cups of coffee per day, no creamer, herbal teas, and green tea.

  • Herbs and nuts

They tell you to drink lots of water to help flush the bad stuff out, along with the food list.

If you drink half your body weight in ounces, you’ll be in good shape.

What Not to Eat

  • Wines, beer, and soy sauce are fermented foods that contain yeast.

  • grapes, raisins, oranges, dried fruits, and sugar are some of the foods that have yeast on their outer skin.

  • Tropical fruits are too sweet and sticky. That does not include bananas, pineapples, melons, and mangoes.

  • bread, cookies, cakes, pasta, and other items are all made from flour.

  • Artificial juices and sugar are included.

  • Peanuts

  • Dairy

What I Like (Pros)

  • It is very effective for cleansing your internal systems.

  • Easy to use

  • It makes you feel more energetic.

  • You feel better because of that.

  • Is it possible to increase immunity as well?

  •

It will keep you motivated to eat healthy, partly because you will realize it is not that hard, and partly because you will want to maintain the results.

What I Don’t Like (Cons)

  • It can take a long time to prepare a meal.

  • The liquid drops taste a little bitter, and you don’t want to be consuming added sweeteners during this time.

  • It’s not very effective for weight loss if you don’t stick to the meal plan for an extended period.

  • The meal plan can be too restrictive for some people.

  • There are a lot of bathroom breaks.

Potential Side Effects

This is an herbal cleanse and you should keep that in mind. Side effects can be experienced when herbs are involved.

Most of the time, they are mild.

Most people don’t bother to report anything.

If you have had a bad experience while cleansing in the past, here are some of the most common reactions.

For the first few days, it was difficult.

Your body is still adjusting to the herbs. You should be fine by day four.

>>> Mild headaches

To prevent this, try to drink a lot of water.

>>> Tiredness

Did I mention it takes a toll on your body when you’re not eating?

Yes, it happens. It will take some time for your body to adapt to the new diet and all these herbs, so you should feel a bit lazy in the beginning.

>>> Cravings

If you love junk food and sugar, you will get some powerful cravings. The bad news is that it will last for only a few days.

There are frequent bathroom breaks.

Bottom line, it will make you poop a lot. Do you remember that ingredient? It is supposed to make your stool softer and make you vomit.

You might be in the bathroom half the time if you stay at home for the first three days.

Final Verdict: Do I Recommend the Wild Rose Cleanse?

It depends on what you are expecting. What do you want to accomplish with the cleanse?

Do you want to cleanse because you don’t seem to be as healthy?

This probably won’t give you the lasting change you need.

Do you feel like you need to get your plumbing running again as gently as possible?

The Wild Rose Detox is a good fit for me.

Do you want to lose a lot of weight in a couple of weeks?

You might want to look somewhere else. You will probably only lose a small amount of weight with this cleanse.

The majority of that would be water weight.
